City of Ripon Police Department Issues Warning

We have received numerous reports of someone calling residents saying they are collecting money for a police department fundraiser.  The Ripon Police Department does not solicit funds by telephone.  This is possibly a scam and we do not know where these funds would be directed to.  If you wish to donate to local police department programs (National Night Out, K9, Christmas Shop with Emergency Personnel, Anti-Crime Education, etc) please contact us at the Ripon Police Department directly.
