Mike is a lifelong Wisconsin resident and 13-year Port Washington homeowner who proudly calls it the most beautiful city in Southern Wisconsin. A few months ago, he joined Great Lakes Neighbors United when he recognized just how devastating the proposed data center project could be to the community’s character, shoreline, and way of life.
Mike will share firsthand insight into the group’s ongoing battle to protect Port Washington — including an update on Tuesday night’s common council meeting that quickly grew heated and contentious as residents pushed back on being silenced.
