This chapter brings us face to face with the depth of Christ’s sacrifice, the weight of the cross, and the love that held Him there. In John 19, we see suffering, injustice, obedience, and redemption all meet at the foot of the cross — reminding us that Jesus did not turn away from the cost of saving us.
