About this show

The vote you cast—and the choice you lost.

Tonight on Ripon Rabbit Hole LIVE, AJ the Ripon Rabbit takes a closer look at a Wisconsin primary that seems to get stranger by the day.

Republicans are now being encouraged to cross party lines and vote for Democratic socialist Francesca Hong—all in the hope that she will somehow be easier to defeat in November. But does helping increase her vote total, strengthen her momentum, and boost her post-primary narrative really make any sense? Or is this another political strategy that could backfire spectacularly?

We’ll also examine the fallout from Mandela Barnes dropping out after early voting had already begun. Thousands of voters made their choice while he was still an active candidate. Now, many of those voters have lost the practical ability to redirect their support toward someone who could still win.

Then, we’ll turn our attention to the devastating Menasha-area tornado, the families affected, and the volunteers and relief workers stepping forward to help their neighbors recover.

AJ will also share an update on the continued redesign and expansion of the HOT Government website—a growing resource focused on public records, investigations, timelines, transparency, and citizen accountability.

Is crossover voting brilliant strategy—or absolute insanity? Has early voting taken away the voter’s ability to respond when a race suddenly changes? And what can we do to help those recovering from the storm?

Pull up a chair, bring your questions, and join AJ as we follow the story wherever it leads.

Tonight, we go down the rabbit hole.
