Today we’ll be exploring John Chapter 17 — the powerful prayer of Jesus before the cross. In this chapter, we hear Christ pray for His disciples, for all who would believe, and for unity, protection, truth, and glory in the Father.
John 17 reminds us that Jesus did not only teach, lead, and sacrifice — He prayed. He prayed for His followers to be kept in truth, strengthened in faith, and united in love. It is a deeply personal chapter that lets us hear the heart of Christ as He prepares for what is ahead.
