I am a hopeless romantic. They say romance never dies. I am not sure about that with today’s generation. It was so nice to have car doors or any door opened for me by a “gentleman”. I expected respect and received it or I was out the door sort of speak. Things are so different now – taking someone on a date with them paying is novel now from what I hear. I never paid for a date until I was engaged and then I treated at times. Do people cuddle today without wanting more? We did in the 60s and 70s. Even in my hippie generation, love was romantic and you looked forward to being asked out again. I don’t think that is how it happens now and with COVID forget it! Thanks for reading AJ.
