If you were planning on attending the next City Council Meeting for any discussion related to the proposed 2022 city budget, pay close attention to the following details, or you may just arrive after the fact.
Regular common council meetings take place the 2nd Tuesday and 4th Monday regularly at 7pm each month. But on Tuesday the common council will convene twice.
A special council meeting has been set for TUESDAY NOVEMBER 9th 2021 – 30 min prior to the usual start time. This meeting is specifically related to the proposed budget.
As you see listed in the agenda below, this special meeting aims to approve the 2022 Budget and Tax Levy in a very short of time; under 25 min. PUBLIC COMMENTS INCLUDED.
This is the only opportunity for the general public to speak to any questions or concerns regarding the proposed budget prior to the vote.
Although given the allotted time between role call and adjournment for such an important meeting, the city must not be anticipating a tremendous showing from the public?
