A Macoupin County judge has ruled in favor of four North Mac High School families in a lawsuit over the North Mac School District’s COVID-19 quarantine policies. Circuit Court Judge April Troemper said the students can return to in-person learning unless they voluntarily consent to a quarantine or it is mandated by the Macoupin County Health Department. The ruling only applies to the four students, not to the entire school district. The lawsuit is based on two events.
