Today the Ripon Rabbit Hole obtained confirmation of long-standing suspicions regarding the many lies, half-truths, and misinformation that have been propagated to the citizens of Ripon, thanks to relentless pursuit of the truth through open records requests.
This response explains that the request to relocate the Little White Schoolhouse in Ripon, Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin has been denied by the National Historic Landmark and National Register of Historic Places Programs. They have determined that moving the building to the proposed site is not appropriate and therefore, they do not approve the move.
The response also states that if the building is moved, it will result in automatic delisting from the National Register and National Historic Landmark status. This means that the building will lose its official recognition as a historical landmark and lose the protections and benefits that come with such status.

They knew all this time and did not care and failed in raising any such awareness to this fact. The impact on the community and nation who was not told this information prior to the local and recent discussion to move the national historic landmark is significant. It means that the community may have invested time, money and resources into planning and implementing the move of the Little White Schoolhouse, only to find out that the move will not be approved and the building will lose its historic landmark status if it is moved. The community may also lose the cultural and economic benefits that come with having a National Historic Landmark in their area. This could affect tourism, education, and community pride.

It has become clear through our investigation that the entire situation has been manipulated since the beginning, well over a year ago. There are many layers to this story that have yet to be brought to the light, and we are committed to revealing the truth to the public. Holy backroom dealings, Batman! As it turns out, the Ripon Chamber of Commerce no longer holds the deed to the Little White Schoolhouse land. In a surprising twist, it has been revealed that the property is now owned by Justin Krueger through his holding company, Villa Rita. This development raises serious questions about the transparency and accountability of the land swap, as well as the potential motives of the new owner.
We all heard the story about the community member that donated the needed land for the effort, but why didn’t we hear about this? This puts the current situation in an entirely different perspective.
Clearly, this new information sheds even more light on the situation surrounding the Little White Schoolhouse. It appears that the December 2022 transfers were made with the intention of moving the schoolhouse, regardless of whether they would be able to retain its National Historic Landmark and National Register of Historic Places designations. The land swap of the parcels appears as a deliberate attempt to launder the donation of the old Little White Schoolhouse site through Krueger’s Villa Rita, perhaps with the intended goal of giving or selling the property to the Boys and Girls Club without implicating the Chamber of Commerce.
